Senior .NET Full Stack Developer

Location: Galway (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 DOE
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

An established and fast-growing technology company is seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to join its Galway-based engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, enterprise-grade software used by customers worldwide, within a collaborative and technically strong environment.

The Role

You will be a key contributor across the full software development lifecycle, working on modern, scalable applications. While the backend is primarily built using .NET/C#, the frontend currently uses Angular—however, strong experience with other modern frontend frameworks is also welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality full stack applications

• Build and optimise backend services using .NET/C#

• Contribute to frontend development using Angular or similar frameworks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and architecture

• Participate in code reviews and help drive engineering best practices

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making

Required Experience

• Significant commercial experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer

• Strong expertise in .NET / C#

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred, but React/Vue/etc. considered)

• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and web application architecture

• Experience working in agile development environments

Nice to Have

• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or similar)

• Microservices or distributed systems experience

• CI/CD and automated testing exposure
